Our mission is to empower seniors to confidently engage with technology, fostering independence and connection.
Inspiring change, one community at a time.
In April, we initiated a project aimed at enhancing the lives of seniors by offering technological education at senior living homes. We successfully connected with five senior living communities and currently provide ongoing support at three of them. Over the past 20+ weeks, we have delivered comprehensive, three-hour weekly lessons to more than 40 curious residents. Our collaboration with life enrichment directors has allowed us to craft engaging and entertaining sessions, incorporating activities like bingo and Jeopardy to make learning enjoyable. Through this project, we have created a meaningful impact on the residents' lives.
As an organization, we set out to revolutionize the way tech is taught. Rather than relying solely on traditional presentation-style education, which can feel overwhelming for residents, we incorporate fun games and other activities to boost engagement and make the information more digestible.
To support our monetary funds and financial aspirations, we have handcrafted over one hundred goodie bags to help raise money for our cause. We sell these goodie bags at local community fairs and neighborhoods, with the proceeds going towards bringing quality education, supplies, and awards to our residents.
